About Larry J. Giorgi
With more than 35 years of experience in the plumbing, mechanical, construction, and code enforcement industries, Larry J. Giorgi has built a reputation throughout Rhode Island for expertise, integrity, and leadership. As the Owner of Larry Giorgi Plumbing, Heating & Construction, Inc., Larry has successfully managed residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects while providing clients with practical solutions backed by decades of hands-on experience.
Larry holds Rhode Island Master Plumber License #1293 and Master Pipefitter & Refrigeration Class I License #7525. He is also a licensed building contractor, certified backflow inspector, lead-safe remodeler, and certified building, plumbing, and mechanical inspector. His extensive credentials reflect a lifelong commitment to professional excellence and continuing education.
In addition to operating his company since 1988, Larry has served as a Plumbing, Mechanical, and Building Inspector for multiple Rhode Island municipalities, including Cumberland, North Providence, New Shoreham (Block Island), East Providence, Lincoln, and Cranston. He has also been a long-standing member of the Rhode Island Board of Examiners of Plumbers, appointed by Governors Carcieri, Raimondo, and McKee.
Larry’s career includes experience as an instructor at the Community College of Rhode Island, where he taught plumbing code courses for apprentices, helping train the next generation of skilled trades professionals. His background also includes service as a Nuclear Pipefitter and Structural and Piping Systems Inspector at General Dynamics Electric Boat.
